 The secret to the Camino is giving in to the change. Every day...every step...is different. Exciting. Change is good.

Coming to a stop is really hard.  Beautiful scenery, good conpany, and sangria helps. 

Finding balance is key. In your boots...definitely in your backpack...and in life.  

There are alot of corn fields in Portugal. ALOT. there are no cafes in Cornfields.

Croissants and cappuccino are a spectacular way to start the day. 

meeting other pilgrims doing the same thing you are doing is just crazy and so much fun. 

You can truly find beauty everywhere. 

Hotel front desk people aren't very nice when you come in from your walk looking like a Clampett. Bartenders, on the other hand, are always welcoming.  

Laughter transcends all languages. 

I have forgotten how amazingly humbling it is to travel abroad and not speak the language.  

I have a whole new respect for pack mules
